Information we collect

• Account details: your name and phone number (used to sign in via a one-time code), and your email if you provide one.
• Resume content you enter, such as education, skills, projects, and experience.
• Basic usage events, such as when a resume is created or downloaded.
• Standard technical data your browser sends, such as IP address and device/browser type. We use the approximate country from your IP address to determine pricing (free in India, paid elsewhere).
• For paid downloads (outside India), a record of the transaction — product, amount, and the payment reference from our processor. Card and banking details are entered on the processor’s secure page and are never seen or stored by us.

How we use it

We use your information to provide the resume builder — to save your resumes, let you edit them, generate downloadable PDFs, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

ATS score checker uploads

When you use the ATS score checker, the resume you provide is processed to generate your score and suggestions. It is not saved to your account or added to your stored resumes — it is used only to produce the result you see.

Payments

HireFresher is free in India. For paid downloads outside India, payments are processed securely by Razorpay, charged in US Dollars (USD). Your card and banking details are collected and processed by Razorpay on its own secure systems under its privacy policy — we do not receive or store them. We keep only a record of the transaction (product, amount, and payment reference) to grant access, provide support, and handle refunds.

Analytics and notifications

We use analytics and messaging tools to understand how the site is used and to send optional updates:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate usage and traffic measurement.
• Meta Pixel — measurement of visits and campaign performance.
• OneSignal — only if you opt in to browser/push notifications for job tips and updates.

Data retention

We keep your account details and resume content until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the analytics providers’ own retention settings.

Cookies and advertising

HireFresher uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We may also display advertising through Google AdSense or other advertising partners.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Your data, your control

You can edit or delete your resumes at any time from your dashboard. Deleting a resume removes its data from our storage. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings.

To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at riteshpanda292@gmail.com from your registered email or with your registered phone number, and we will remove your account and its data.
