Cyber Security Intern Company: F6 IT Services Private Limited Location: Remote, India Job Type: Internship Duration: 3 Months Expected Start Date: 1 September 2026 Application Deadline: 30 August 2026 Working Hours: Flexible hours Compensation: Paid About the Role F6 IT Services Private Limited is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to support cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability assessment, security analysis, and basic incident response activities. The selected intern will work on assigned cybersecurity tasks and projects under the guidance of the team. This opportunity is intended for candidates who want to develop practical experience in applying cybersecurity concepts to real-world security scenarios. Key Responsibilities Assist with identifying and analyzing basic cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Perform basic vulnerability assessment and security testing activities. Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and suspicious activities. Assist in identifying potential security risks and recommending basic mitigation measures. Work with fundamental network security concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and firewalls. Use cybersecurity tools and platforms for basic security analysis where appropriate. Assist with basic penetration testing and security assessment tasks under supervision. Document security findings, observations, methodologies, and recommendations. Assist with cybersecurity projects and security awareness activities. Communicate security-related findings clearly to the team. Requirements Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts. Familiarity with computer networks and operating systems. Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows environments. Understanding of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar tools is preferred. Basic understanding of ethical hacking or penetration testing is an advantage. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python is an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and work on assigned cybersecurity tasks.
