Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Project Engineer role based in Bhopal. The Mechanical Project Engineer will plan, design, and oversee mechanical systems for projects, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical designs and drawings, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves supporting project scheduling and budgeting, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of engineering and project delivery processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Candidates should possess Project Engineering and Project Management skills to handle scope definition, planning, coordination, and tracking of project milestones. Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for preparing and reviewing mechanical layouts, detailed drawings, and technical documentation. Candidates should possess Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge to coordinate mechanical designs with electrical and plumbing systems in building and infrastructure projects. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects, are beneficial. Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with applicable codes and standards, strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively on-site.
