About the Internship We are looking for a Front-End Developer Intern to join our remote team for a 6-month paid internship. You will work closely with our product and development team to build, improve, and maintain user-facing experiences across the DC Procure platform. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to strengthen their front-end development skills while contributing to a real product used to solve practical business problems. The internship is suitable for students, recent graduates, or early-career developers who are looking to gain meaningful product development experience. What You’ll Do Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. Develop reusable front-end components and UI features. Translate designs and product requirements into functional web experiences. Work with APIs to display and interact with application data. Identify and fix UI bugs and front-end issues. Improve website performance, usability, and responsiveness. Collaborate with developers and product team members on new features. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback. Test interfaces across browsers and screen sizes. Learn and apply modern front-end development practices. What We’re Looking For Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with React.js or another modern front-end framework. Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first principles. Familiarity with Git and basic version-control workflows. Ability to work with REST APIs and JSON is a plus. Basic understanding of UI/UX principles. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Good to Have Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, or Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with component-based development. Experience working with GitHub. Exposure to Figma or other design/prototyping tools. Personal projects, coursework, open-source contributions, or a GitHub portfolio. We do not require extensive professional experience. Demonstrated ability to learn and build things matters more than years of experience.
