Role Description The IT Support Intern will assist in providing remote technical support to internal team members and, where applicable, external users. This internship role includes responding to help desk tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktop computers, and supporting basic IT requests such as account access, password resets, and application installation. The intern will help document recurring issues, maintain asset inventories, and follow established procedures for incident escalation. This is an internship role and is fully remote, offering hands-on experience in information technology support within a professional screening services environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Help Desk Support to assist users and manage support requests effectively. Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Desktop Computers to diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues. Candidates should possess skills in Information Technology fundamentals, including operating systems, basic networking concepts, and common business applications. Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and follow documented procedures and security best practices. Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial; any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus.
