Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work in a full-time hybrid role based in Dehradun, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical systems, preparing technical drawings and specifications, and supporting power distribution and power system projects. The role involves conducting calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and project management. The Electrical Engineer will troubleshoot electrical issues, assist with installation and commissioning, and provide technical documentation and reports. The position also requires participation in project planning, coordination with vendors or clients when needed, and continuous improvement of existing electrical designs and processes. Qualifications Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including practical understanding of electricity and core engineering principles. Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparation of schematics, layouts, and technical documentation. Experience with Power Distribution systems, including load calculations and selection of appropriate equipment. Knowledge of Power Systems, including analysis, protection, and reliability considerations. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Ability to use relevant design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, electrical CAD tools, basic power system analysis software). Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Prior experience in electrical/electronic manufacturing or industrial projects is an advantage.
